Imagine this scenario: Your channel has been monetized for years and provides a steady revenue stream from the YouTube Partner Program. Because you've shifted your focus to other work priorities, you haven't been active on the channel for quite a while.
Suddenly you notice that your channel has been flagged for inactivity by YouTube. A possible reason for this might be:
You have not created content uploads or community posts in the last 6 months. In this case, YouTube reserves the right to remove the monetization.
Furthermore, these uploads need to be part of the YouTube Partner Program. Your uploads within a month should accumulate either: 4,000 public watch hours with long videos OR 10 million valid public Shorts views to avoid channel demonetization.
Even if you are running a successful channel, you need to make sure to continuously post content that keep fullfilling YouTube's requirements.
